Mountain Equipment Approach Pant

These are a great pair of trousers from ME. They are made from nylon and are very light weight. They have 4 pockets, 2 of which have ykk zips. The thigh pocket and rear pocket are made from mesh whilst the higher wear main pockets are half mesh,all allowing some venting in warmer weather. Whilst the material seems great at stopping wind, I was a little disappointed that it seems to wet out very quickly in rain, though it does dry quickly once the rain stops. Overall I am very pleased with these trousers, they are very comfortable,thanks to the relaxed fit and the diamond crotch, the knees are articulated and they are easy to clean and dry.

I recently bought a pair of Approach shorts that I found very comfortable. I was looking for a pair of full length walking trousers and was considering Mountain Equipment Comici when I thought it was worth checking out the Approach version given my liking the shorts. Facewest had them on offer cheaper than the Comici so bought them. As with the shorts,even though I'm a 34 waist the 32 waist is a better fit. They are very lightweight and for me, comfortable to walk in. 31 inside leg and waist band has fleece lining. There are 2 deep side pockets (not zipped) and a handy zipped thigh pocket on the left leg. Great value for money from Facewest and delivered by post fuss free.

Great lightweight pant. Very breathable. Great fit also. Will definitely buy again.
