The Leatherman Wave Alpha is an upgrade to one of if not the most popular Leatherman on the market today. It offers a new reverse tanto blade crafted from ultra-premium MagnaCut® steel—delivering elite-level edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. A new thumb stud makes one-handed blade access smooth and intuitive. Contoured G10 handles with topo-inspired machining provide a secure grip, enhanced comfort, and striking looks. The standard Wave combination of 18 tools is an ideal if not essential piece of equipment for almost any job or adventure.

For the first time ever on a Wave, there is a full-size, one-handed scissor, the largest cutting surface ever on a pliers-based Leatherman. The Wave Alpha has a small bit driver that comes with a phillips flat tip eyeglasses screwdriver, and a large bit driver which comes with a double ended flat philips head screwdriver.

This package comes with a two part Bit Kit that expands the capabilities of compatible Leatherman tools with 42 additional bit options, including 21 double-sided bits such as Phillips, slotted, Torx, and hex.
