The Mountain Equipment Guide Mitt is a versatile, warm and waterproof mountaineering Mitt that offers great protection and good value. Featuring Mountain Equipment's DRILITE waterproof insert and a Goatskin leather palm, the guide Mitt is an excellent value mountaineering Mitt for those taking their first steps into winter mountaineering.
Inside the Mitt is a thick, fast drying fibre pile lining on the back of the hand and less bulky microfleece on the palm so dexterity is not affected. To boost the warmth there is also 2 layers of PrimaLoft Gold insulation on back of hand and single layer on thumb. There are carabiner carry loops on the middle finger co the Mitts can be carried on the back of a harness without filling up with snow. THe Guide Mitts come with removable wrist tethers.
