The Exped Flex 1.5R is a lightweight closed cell foam mat that packs away in a space saving accordian style. With a bright green side for visibility and a dark grey side for when you need to be more discrete at your camping spot.
This style of closed cell foam mat has many uses. Used on its own the Flex 1.5 is surprisingly comfortable for its thickness thanks to the egg box style surface. In colder conditions you can pair it with an air mat to provide puncture protection. Thanks to the fact its pretty much indestructible you can move it around camp as a seating surface or yoga mat without having to worry about thorny ground.
