Description

Nikwax Tech Wash is the number 1 cleaner for performance waterproof clothing. Tech Wash is designed to revive the breathability and water repellency of your clothing. It does this by removing dirt and oil build up on your clothing, without leaving detergent residue. Normal detergents wash away DWR treatments and leave behind residue which blocks the pores in waterproof membranes.

Regular cleaning will enhance the performance of your gear. With regular cleaning, you should be able to clean your gear 5-6 times with Nikwax Tech Wash before it requires re-waterproofing. When Nikwax Tech Wash alone does not revitalise the Durable Water Repellency of your gear it's time to re-waterproof using the appropriate Nikwax waterproofer.

Specifications

Machine Wash Hand Wash (use gloves)
  • Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
  • Place maximum 2 items in washing machine.
  • Use 150ml in medium/hard water areas and 100ml in soft water areas for 1-2 items.
  • Wash according to care label, preferably on low setting and slow spin.
  • Immerse item(s) in 6L hand-hot water in sink or bowl.
  • Use 150ml in medium/hard water areas and 100ml in soft water areas for 1-2 items.
  • Rinse 3 times in clean water.
