The Petzl Sm'D is a Highly versatile, lightweight, compact, D-shaped locking carabiner. Sm’D is a D-shaped locking carabiner that is lightweight and compact and can be used in numerous situations; it is easy to use, even when wearing gloves.
The H cross section reduces the weight of the Sm'D and also provides strength. The TWIST-LOCK is ideal when quick opening is key (e.g. at the end of a lanyard) and when connecting a GRIGRI to a harnes. The Sm'D is ideal for use with the Petzl connect lanyard system.
