Built around the innovative Black Diamond Integrated Component Exchange (I.C.E.) system, this ice tool can be modified to meet the demands of your specific objective. From water ice in the Alps to technical Scottish Winter mixed climbing, the Hydra tool accepts a full suite of I.C.E. accessories including picks, hammers, adze, head-weights, spikes, and grip spacers.

The hydroformed shaft is ergonomically designed for steep technical climbing, making light work of overhanging waterfall ice and hooking through mixed routes. Fine-tune the adjustable grip for a perfect handhold, and choose a lower spike or lower pommel for customized comfort.
