Tip is a must when walking in spring, summer and fall. The standard sharp tips are not appropriate unless there is snow/ice. Good product at a good price.

I use poles when I'm out for a walk of any distance, even on roads or pavements. These tips make the poles much quieter on tarmac. They don't last particularly long (about ten weeks before the rubber has worn down), but they're worth it; I like them enough to have put in a repeat order.

Got these for my BD poles which didn't come with any rubber tips. Didn't want to put the cheap push tips on the end as I knew I'd lose them - plus they wouldn't fit so well. These are worth carrying in the pack as they weigh almost nothing but make a big difference in terms of grip and sanity (losing that annoying clicking and scraping sound of metal pole tips on concrete/tarmac/other hard surfaces). They're fairly easy to change once the thread's loosened (with a multitool) - the wavy bit stops it dropping off accidentally I guess. Time will tell how long they last, but they're certainly more substantial than the cheap push ones.

Very good whilst it lasted, but on the Camino di Santiago it wore through to the metal after 100km. Expected a lot better.
