The Black Diamond Tech Tip Carbide is the interchangeable tip for the Black Diamond Trekking pole series. It provides excellent traction on hard surfaces.

I'm not actually using these at the moment, just bought them as a replacement anticipating there'll be a time when I do need them. Seems to be the same as what I've already got on the bottom of my BD poles, and they work brilliantly. They are fairly easy to switch. For the price, it's an easy way to extending the life of BD poles! Also bought a pair of the rubber ones too.
