My BD pole tip broke after 2 years of use, so I ordered the replacement tips. Good to have such products rather than replacing the pole, but. . . . It does the job, but removing the old tip and replacing it was a lot harder than I anticipated, even after downloading some instructions from the web (none came with the pack). It was not possible to pull off or remove the old tip as instructed even using mole wrench and pliers, if I wanted to avoid crushing the pole. Eventually resorted to cutting the plastic/rubber longitudinally with a Stanley knife and peeling the tip off, then pushing/bashing the replacement on. It is still not on as far as the other one, but seems firm. Am I missing some simple trick?
