The Rab Stratosphere 4 is a lightweight 3 season insulated sleeping mat. This comfortable mat is suitable for camping in the Spring, Summer and Autumnal months. Light enough for backpacking and comfortable enough for basecamp and car camping.

Inside the Stratosphere 4 is Rab's Stratus 100% Recycled Polyester insulation. This provides an impressive level of warmth over a standard air filled sleeping mat and will prevent heat loss through convective currents resulting in the mat's 3.8 R-Value. The hybrid rectangular shape provides a large sleeping surface, which is great for side sleepers, and the rounded ends help keep the overall weight down without reducing the usable surface.

The Stratosphere 4 is constructed from durable 75D Recycled Polyester with internal TPU Coating and fluorocarbon free DWR that will ensure that the mat dries quickly should any rain get in through your tent. The 2 way inflate / deflate valve means that the mat can be quickly inflated using the included pump sack, then when it's time to move on can be quickly deflated.

I bought this for Ëœglamping „¢, perhaps not its intended use but having used a backpacking sleeping mat for 20 years I saw no reason to change. Great comfortable sleeping mat, kept my back in good condition when there were tree roots beneath the tent. Bought the large version (I „¢m petite) Ëœcoz the dog (collie sized) breaks in during the night if i's blowing outside, there was room for him by my feet ¦.and the slight larger ribs on the edge meant I didn „¢t roll off and land on my partner during the night - so he slept better too! Inflation is quick and simple with the Ëœinflator bag „¢ and I only needed to reinflate after the first night over a fortnight (so that was my error in ensuring the valve was fully sealed). Very easy to repack and packs smaller than the originals that are 20 yrs old. Everything you „¢d expect from rab.
