I am a long term fan of these gloves. I do not use them as a liner but on their own when it turns cool. I always use walking poles so need a little protection fom the elements. I find them light, warm and comfortable as long as the temperature is not too low. They are quite hard wearing and last me around three years, depending on use, before they develop finger holes. Just the job for my purpose.
