The product is a multi purpose spare headband for all the PETZL range of headtorches. It fitted my zoom and looks really good. The original band had lost its spring after many years of use but this has breathed new life into the product and I hope it lasts for a similar number of years again. Full blown up instructions for all the different models were included too. A well made product in an age where spares are getting difficult to source and replacement seems the only option.

Brought new life into my 18 year Petzl Zoom. Good and accurate description of product on website. Fast dispatch.

Brilliant. The whole pile of aged tikkas and MYOs hanging on the back door, all with sloppy headbands completely replaced and now as new! ! So now, whenever I need one, I can just grab and go without sorting through to find the least worst one! ! Should have bought these years ago! ! No negative points and the Petzl instructions make it clear how to replace each headlamp strap really simply. It's not advertised as working for tikkas, but they certainly do work fine.

I got this for a 10-year-old Tikka. The actual replacement for the Tikka range has a different product number but no one keeps it. So I got this one as one feedback mentioned it fit Tikka. It did but to make it work properly I needed to use a plastic bit from the old worn out strap. No problem and works fine. I think it could be fit without the plastic bit but it wouldn't be like the original then. I'm happy to have my Petzl back in full working order.

Has regenerated my Petzl head torch. Easy to change but needed a plastic fitting from old band.

Good product but the diagrammatic instruction sheet is a bit intellectually challenging if, like me, you have a draw full of Petzl headtorches and can't remember the model of your strap-free light.

Fits my old taktika perfectly. Like having a new torch! Just as well I like black. .

Works out ok on our old tikkas (tikka max and tikka2 - IIRC), you just need to retain one piece of plastic from the original headband that you are replacing. Good idea to take a photo or short video on your phone of the old headband in situ so as to make it a bit easier to fit the replacement unless you are Krypton Factor style genius. Only given it a 4 because Petzl should not have discontinued the exact replacement headbands for tikkas, if you haven't got that piece of plastic from the original headband, well you are up a hill without a compass in the fog.

The replacement headband fitted my old zoom head torch with no problems. The instructions were clear and concise. As for Facewest, they were the best price I found on the internet and the transaction and dispatch time were faultless. Thank you very much.

Predictably, this was just what I needed. . . Given the fact that the headband on my Petzl Head Torch had stretched beyond all recognition (so much so that it wouldn't so much as stay on my inarguably enormous head, even adjusted to its tightest), I had resigned myself to the fact that I would need to replace the complete unit. I have no idea what caused me to look for a replacement headband but, at the princely sum of a tenner, it saved me over fifty quid on the purchase price of a new torch. Needless to say, I was quite pleased with the result. A word to the wise, however - for those in the congregation who don't have exceptional memories for these things (I do, despite rarely being able to remember my own name and never being able to remember what I had for lunch) it would be well worth taking some photos of how the headband weaves its way through the torch as it could be quite challenging to fit the new one otherwise.
