Description
The Patagonia Houdini Jacket is a slim fitting jacket aimed at the mountain enthusiast and lends itself especially to the runner. Designed to be the ultimate windproof with exceptionally high levels of water repellency. It also makes a fantastic belay jacket for summer cragging and multi pitch climbing as it has a fully adjustable hood that cinches closed without impairing peripheral vision. The chest pocket doubles as a stuffsack and has a strong carabiner loop allowing for clipping to a climbing harness.
The 15 denier Nylon has a water repellent coating that also includes the front zip of the Houdini jacket, a great touch. The Ripstop grid reduces the chance of tearing and increases the durability of the tough Nylon fabric. It's finished with the iconic P6 logo badge on the chest.

Customer Reviews of Patagonia Houdini Jacket
Bought as a warm weather belay jacket. For this its perfect! Super light, and the built in zip pocket/ clip loop work really well on the back of your harness, without having to faff with a stuff sack. Which would inevitably get blown away in the wind on a belay anyway!
The hood is great with, or without a helmet on (BD Vector).
Ive also used it walking, in some pretty terrible light/ medium rain, to which it dealt with exceptionally well.
Very impressed indeed!
Have not worn yet but was delved very fast great looking product can't wait to use.
Thought this a tad expensive at first, especially when compared to my RAB Borealis windproof, but soon changed my mind. A super light jacket, and therefore very small when packed away. Totally windproof but very breathable so no condensation when exercising. Used mine for cycling and running and so impressed bought another for hiking.
Only minor downside is that it only has one small chest pocket.
