Ortovox Haute Route 30 Short

The Ortovox Haute Route is a classic touring pack which has been popular, with good reason, for many years. This updated version for Winter 2022 sees the development of the carry system to ensure comfort over long days out. Ortovox's O-Flex-2 back system features an S-shaped stabilizer which distributes weight evenly between the hips and the shoulders, even over lengthy periods. The hip fins connect inside the back system so that they wrap comfortably and seamlessly around the body. Equipped with a separate safety compartment for your avalanche protection kit, a front pocket specifically designed to take a map and with axe, pole, crampon and rope attachment points the Haute Route is well equipped to give easy access to your gear whilst touring.

The Haute Route 30 S has a shorter back length than other Haute route packs, designed for users with a back length between 36 and 44cm. To measure your beck length measure down your spine from the base of your neck to the top of your hips.

Constructed with 420D Nylon it is abrasion resistant and well able to cope with the tough demands of hut to hut use whilst remaining lightweight. The main compartment is accessed through a large top loading zip or through the back giving easy access to items at the top of the pack and making it easy to find items when taking it off.
