The Mountain Equipment Trail Gaiter is a durable mountain gaiter that will stand up to a lot of punishment. It is made from Three Layer Drilite waterproof fabric for extended durability as you climb, yet it remains highly breathable to keep your lower leg comfortable. This is a fantastic choice of gaiter for winter mountaineering and alpine climbing.

The sizes are based on standard leather trekking boots. If you plan to use the gaiter on big mountain boots you will have to go up one or two EUR sizes to get the right size.

Fantastic gaiter, has been tried and tested over lighter ground and very rough bog. Only tiny gripe is the seating position of the buckle on the outer of boot. Great bit of kit if a little pricey. Wicks away moisture, if you dunk in a hill drain will keep you dry. Very light and good style with pull chord tightener at back of leg.
