The Mountain Equipment G2 Mountain Pant is a highly protective GORE-TEX INFINIUM windproof softshell pant idealy suited for climbing and mountaineering. Constructed with GORE-TEX INFINIUM Softshell they are completely windproof and highly weather resistant, making them able to withstand tough weather before a hardshell is required. The softshell is also stretchy and features a fleece inner which provides some warmth and excellent comfort.
The Mountain fit makes them comfortable to wear over base layers and combined with the stretch of the fabric it provides unrestricted movement when climbing or walking. The pants feature fully adjustable and removable braces and have an integrated waist belt. There are two zipped hand pockets for storing close to hand required items, and to assist with your temperature regulation they have two thigh vents. A handy addition to the pants is that they feature softshell gaiters with integrated lace hooks, so provide a good trouser boot seal. These are also removable if you don't require them making the trousers versatile for year round use. Providing lower leg protection from crampons the instep area is reinforced with Dyneema patches and the hem is bonded for added durability. The ankles also feature a zipped internal panel giving you flexibility with your boot options.
