The Mountain Equipment Frostline Shorts are a lightweight and packable additional boost to your layering system. They are designed for belaying or skiing in extremely cold conditions when you need that extra warmth. Covering your waist and thighs, an area where you can loose a lot of core warmth very rapidly and not often covered by a belay jacket. The lightweight 20D DRILITE Loft outer is totally windproof and water resistant, providing durable protection for the down insulation. The Frostline Shorts are filled with 700 FP down. The stitch trough baffle construction ensures that the Frostline shorts can be packed down and don't take up too much room in your pack
Full length YKK side zips mean the shorts can be donned without removing boots. The elasticated waistband has a drawcord adjustment. There are also two zipped hand warmer pockets for smaller essentials.
