The Mammut Probe 240 is a lightweight probe that collapses into six pieces and will take up little room in your pack at only 45cm long. In an emergency the 240cm probe can be quickly deployed allowing you to search. To one side the metric scaling will indicate the depth of any avalanche victim found. The pull through cord locks it all firmly in place.
