The Black Diamond Venom LT Classic is a lightweight and versatile axe designed for ski touring and mountaineering, with modular add-ons to expand its range of use. The range of additional modular components includes the Black Diamond Transfer LT shovel blade, allowing you to use the axe as the shovel handle meaning you can drop a bit of extra weight in your pack by leaving the shovel handle at home.
The Venom LT Classic features replaceable steel Hot Forged MTN Classic Pick is combined with an ergonomic forged aluminum head. The grooved shaft increases grip and tapers to a replaceable steel spike for dependable placements in snow. The Venom LT Classic is compatible with additional hammer, tech pick and adjustable pommel so you can pair it with a Venom LT Tech to create a pair of more technical climbing axes for steeper terrain.
