The Thermarest Womens Prolite is a lightweight self inflating mattress that is suitable for 3-season use and is ideal for lightweight backpacking. One of the key attributes of the Prolite is its small packed size that has resulted in this mat being the choice for longer trips or expeditions in all but the coldest months.
The Atmos urethane foam has holes cut into it to lower the overall density and weight of the Prolite. In this latest version of the mat theses are cut at an angle. This has the effect of decreasing the air flow between the ground and the top of the mattress but still keeping the weight to a minimum along with excellent ability to be compressed. The outer 50 denier Polyester fabrics are tough and durable with the addition of Rip-stop on the upper side.

Customer Reviews of Thermarest Womens Prolite
This self-inflating mattress is really satisfying. I'm 1,58 and a trekker, so I was searching for a very light but comfortable mat (I mostly sleep on my side). I chose the 2,5 cm instead of the 3,8 thickness because I live in a warm place, where there is no need of extra insulation at any time of the year. At first sight the mat looked thin even when inflated, but a try proved it to be really comfortable in any position. The mats inflates quickly, and if you want it really rigid, it can need 2 or 3 breaths - at most.
The mat comes with a stuff bag and detailed instructions. The size of the packed mat is just 28cm x 10cm, so it's really small and easy to carry around in your backpack. Moreover, it is easy to roll back again (again, detailed instructions are given). Super light (less that 500gr), should be stored open for longevity. The material is sturdy and resistant. Last, the mattress has a lifetime (limited, no tears included) warranty.
A friend told me to be careful about moisture that can enter the foam when breathing to inflate it in humid environment - you should leave it to dry completely with the valve open.
