The Thermarest Down Coupler is the most luxurious method of joining two Thermarest mattresses providing extra warmth and comfort. A quilted top containing 650 fill power duck down is finished with a soft brushed Polyester. The edge has a tight elastic trim that hugs the outside of the two mattresses while a single strap runs underneath.

The edges of the Down Coupler have press stud snap fastenings so a Down Comforter or Thermarest Blanket can be attached creating the very best of outdoor comfort. The additional weight and bulk will not appeal to the lightweight backpacker but for base camp or car camping the Down Coupler will make that extra difference reflected by better rest.

    Thermarest Down Coupler Review
    Verified Buyer

This was bought to join two full length thermarests that are slightly different thicknesses and create a double mattress for the pop-top roof of a camper van. It exceeds my expectations: it fits snugly over both mattresses and there are stitched pockets that hold the ends of the two mattresses in place and straps underneath that stop it moving about. The extra layer of insulation will come in very handy in spring particularly. Highly recommended as alternative to buying a double width mat (which would have been too wide for our van).
