Customer Reviews of Rab Alpine Glove (Winter 18)
I like to hike the scandinavian countries and higher mountains and also need something to wear on daily basis walking my dog in all kinds of weather.I was looking for something that had a lot of dexterity, blocks the wind and is water resistant to some level. Was not looking for some insane warm glove just something for the above stuff. When I hike or walk the dog I still need to be able to use my hands. When it gets too cold I would just put a mitten over them. They fit really well and are well build. There is a bit of insulation on the top of your hand and the cuff is long enough to cover your wrist. Are easy to take off and put on and you can still work with your hands when using them. They block out the wind and some small precipitation and keep your hands a bit warmer. There are not really insulated so don't expect more from them than a standard leather glove with a little bit of thinsulate type of insulation on the top of your hand. But you will be able to climb, use your hike poles or set up a tent in these.(or pick up dog poo, hold a dog leash :-) )
