It is windproof with a good amount of stretch to allow total freedom of movement. Beneath the EXOLITE 45 is a very light micro grid layer. This provides some warmth when stationary, but comes into its own when you are working hard. Using capillary action it wicks sweat away from your body keeping you at an optimum temperature.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe Aerotherm features a low profile adjustable Mountain Hood that can be roll down for storage. There are two zipped handwarmer pockets that sit high so they do not interfere with a climbing harness. There is also a small zipped Napoleon pocket for a topo or other small essentials. The jacket is made to Mountain Equipment's Active Fit with articulated, pre-shaped sleeves.
