The Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag UL is pretty versatile as it's not only a pump to inflate your Exped sleeping mat but it also can be used as a lightweight dry bag or a pack liner. It is certainly big enough to store your bed in when you're on the move and you'll probably get a few other things in there too.
The Schnozzel Pumpbag UL is really easy to use. Attach the valve to the mat and then open the dry bag filling it with air. Seal the opening with a couple of folds and force the air out and into your mattress. To keep the bag steady there is a foot loop to pop your toes through.

I've ordered this a few days ago from Facewest and it's just arrived again a super fast and super cool delivery from a supercool shop :P But more on the product itself, I agree with the previous ones as it's really much more bigger than expected (I ordered the M medium version) and it comes with a handy waterproof plus a zipper plastic holder too which I'll use for carrying documents or passports I think on the road The bag is really lightweight and inflates the mat easily so no more condensation inside which I was having in almost every morning because of mouth inflation SO all in all I would definitely recommend this to anyone who owns any kind of EXPED Mats since it can greatly lengthen your products lifetime and with the double use of the bag since it's also a waterproof stuff&compression sack (actually triple because of the plastic holder :)) it's the best accessory You can buy for the EXPED mats :P

A pump or pumpbag is essential for use with the Exped Syn or Down mats - I tried a Synmat without & it was too much work to blow the mat up by mouth. The Pumpbag is a very light waterproof stuffsac as well so it's dual use - it inflates a Synmat 5 in 3 or 4 bag-fulls. Only minus is that it seems very light fabric so durability and/or ripping may be an issue

I bought this product to pump my new Exped SynMat Ultralite 9. It fills amazingly fast with this pumpbag, which also works as a drybag. As an ultralight product it has very thin fabric and seems not to be very durable (can be durable of course, but I'm not that convinced. . . :), so I wouldn't put my expensive light down sleeping bag in this bag. But for it's purpose it seems to work just fine and I will certainly use it also to pack my not that valuable hiking clothes. I bought size M and it's quite big one, I'd recommend this size for everyone if you don't have some specific reason to buy a very large UL pump/drybag.

I bought this for a trip I'm doing to Denali a) to inflate the down mat as I don't want to waste the oxygen needed to put the effort in to use the integral inflate pump included in the Downmat and b) to keep my sleeping system dry. I'm happy to report that this works perfectly on both counts. It rapidly inflates the Downmat in about 3 schnozzel-fulls of air taking about 1-2mins in total from removal from stuff sack to fully inflated and kept everything dry when fully immersed in a bath. Some people have written online about their doubts as to the durability of the schnozzel as it seems quite thin; I also have these doubts but do wonder what you've actually got to be doing with it to puncture it?That said the repair kit that comes with the downmat can also be used to repair the schnozzel. All in all I'd say this is an essential piece of kit for anyone who owns a Downmat; you certainly won;t regret buying it!

Great dry bag - the head isn't huge, but it'll do. Very light, and really rather big. Inflates my SynMat within 1-2 fills.

This pumpbag is excellent, pumps up beds in no time. Doubles up as a dry bag too. Ideal purchase for backpacker camper and motorcycle tourer alike. I was impressed.

Well worth the purchase. It made inflating the mat simple. I watched the videos for this product and thought they were exaggerating when they inflated it in 4 goes - I actually managed to do this myself. I cant image the hassle of attempting it without one now.

An ingenious idea that actually works! The bag is massive and could be used on its own as a stuff sac , collecting the air or rather getting a full bag of air looks simple enough on the manufacturers website but in practice requires a little patience and practice but all siad and done it does what its supposed to without filling your mattress with moist air

The Schnozzel makes life a lot easier when inflating mats (blowing up a mat by mouth is a tedious process) and is also a very good, ultralight, dry bag with a huge volume. The only downside to this product is the price. . . . . . . . . . a tad high.

After buying the ExPed blow up mats and having to blow it up by mouth I decided to invest in this product and I am pleased that I did. It has a dual purpose of a) being able to blow up the mat with the valve being lockable to the mat and the more I use it the quicker and experienced I will get; and b) it makes a great waterproof stuff sac to put my clothes in in the bike panniers when out and about. The material is very light and strong but possibly a bit pricey but overall. I am pleased I did buy this for my synmats.
