The Thermarest NeoAir Xlite Max SV is a maximum shaped, ultra light air mattress from Thermarest with a built in Speed Valve. The mat features ThermaCapture technology, where a series of baffles are made from a reflective fabric that provides an almost complete barrier to radiative heat loss. This, combined with a Triangular Core Matrix construction, makes the mat ultra light without being bulky.
The built in speed valve makes inflating and deflating the mattress much easier as it sucks in air from the outside as you blow into it, so not only does the mat inflate quicker, you use less breath. The speed valve also makes deflating the mat almost instant, so packing it away is super quick and easy. With an R-Value of 3.2 this mattress will perform in three season conditions. To achieve this Thermarest have used lighter materials that perform as well but are less durable than those used in the heavier models. The mat also provides added coverage with its square, rather than tapered, shape.
The outer fabrics have been improved and are now a soft textured fabric that provides superb next to skin comfort and are a lot quieter leading to a better night's sleep. The textured fabric also provides greater slip resistance, in other words you and your bag are less likely to slip off the mattress.

Customer Reviews of Thermarest NeoAir Xlite MAX SV
I've not used the mat in anger yet so this is first impressions. It looks well made and, when inflated is a good size for me, I'm 6'4 and keeps me off the ground well.Yet to be convinced by the easy inflate feature. It took a long time to get anything like a good pressure.Maybe, it was because it was the first time use and was very clingy inside.Time will tell.
