    Description

The Marker Ski Touring Binding Crampon will fit any of the Marker touring bindings (Duke, Baron, F12 & F10).

The crampon itself is folded aluminium with 3 teeth on each side. The binding fits onto the rear of the binding rails just below the brake. The crampon goes up and down with your foot but cannot be used at the same time as the heel lifters

They come with an additional plastic insert which is attached to make them compatible with the wider EPF bindings.

    There are 3 sizes available:

    • 92mm. This fits ski widths up to 84mm.
    • 113mm. This fits ski widths up to 106mm
    • 128mm. This fits ski widths up to 120mm.

Comes complete with storage bag for your crampons.

    Weight - 119g per crampon

    Marker Touring Binding Crampon Review

These crampons are specific to the Marker binding. Whilst they should fit OK in most cases, I have experienced problems where the F12 binding is adjusted for a smaller boot. In this configuration the crampon fouls the brake, making it very difficult to fit the crampon as the brake needs to be moved out of the way at the same time. Discussions with Facewest staff, who have been extremely helpful, suggest that a larger brake would fix the problem. Since my skis are 100mm waist, normally the 110mm brake would be right - but the 130mm one would clear the crampon. Before buying this crampon, I suggest a discussion with Facewest. Once fitted they seem good - but my first attempt (assisted by a Glenmore Lodge instructor in 40MPH winds on Cairngorm) was a failure due to the problem outlined above.

A very lightweight product which does its job very well! Easy to use and feels very sturdy! Only been used on piste at the moment as going on a big touring holiday in February.

Delivery was very efficient over the busy Christmas period.

Will definitely be buying again from Face West!
