The Marker Griffon Binding is a freeride / freestyle alpine binding. Essentially the Griffon is the lighter version of the Jester with a maximum all up weight of 120 kg. The Griffon features no-pull-out screws and centralised swing weight to handle all the twists and jumps you can throw at it. The toe-piece is also height adjustable to improve fit on older, worn ski boots and better compatibility with vibram soled boots.
The Griffon now comes with Marker's Sole.ID toe piece which allows the binding to be used with both alpine and touring ski boots. This is done by simply adjusting the screw to give the anti friction device at the toe the correct height.
The Griffon has a DIN range of 4-13, suitable for heavier and more powerful skiers.
