The Marker F12 Tour EPF is a very popular backcountry touring binding. The F12 features the wider footprint or Extended Power Frame (EPF). This gives the binding greater strength and rigidity. The F12 is a good touring binding option for wider skis with a minimum width of 88mm.
The F12 EPF combines the proven touring features of the Tour F12 / F10 with the EPF chasis of the Duke & Baron. The F12 EPF is a good choice for aggressive and heavy skiers who still intend to do extended tours where weight is important. The F12 EPF requires (like the other Marker touring bindings) you to take your boot out of the binding to change from skiing to touring mode. This is a good security feature but also means you can't quickly change modes on rolling terrain.
The F12 EPF has a 2 position heel lifter which raises the heel either 60 or 90mm compared to the toe.

Check the table below to determine which size binding fits your ski boot size. When you add the bindings to your basket the next page will ask what size brake you want. It is best to use the narrowest brake which fits your ski waist. Eg if your ski is 88mm wide then pick the 90mm brake. Marker brakes are available in the following widths: 85mm, 90mm, 110mm and 130mm.
