Customer Reviews of Climb On Lip Lube
Excellent product. Just back from a weekend in the Alps and it worked perfectly. Great protection in bad weather and also for use after skiing/climbing. Pros- smells good, good price. Cons- none as of yet.
As soon as the weather changes my lips seem to get it ether way summer or winter. I've tried all sorts an usually carry a boots own brander because there cheap. I bought a climb on lip lube to make up an order and have to say its a different league. It stays on for more than ten mins!!
Unfortunately that's about all I can say about lip balm though. At over £3 its not cheap so I've assigned this one to my hip belt pocket.
Whilst it smells very nice, and it's great that it doubles up and can replace tiger balm for rubbing on temples, it's not as protective against sunburn as I would have liked. Admittedly, it doesn't claim to be so, and it feels very soothing to apply to already sunburnt lips, but to prevent them getting burnt in the first place, you might want to also invest in a specific SPF rated lip balm.
Apart from that, you can't fault it. Really nice smell.
I'm a trekker and a climber, and my lips need to be constantly protected. This balm is by far the best I found.
Climb On Lip Lube contains only natural ingredients. Its moisturizing effect lasts much longer than other lip balms, so it doesn't need to be reapplied often even after sipping a coffee or eating a snack - this means also that it lasts much longer than other lip balms, hence it's well worth the price. The flavor has a not too strong hint of peppermint that I like.
The balm doesn't make your lips glossy, and I found that worn under a lipstick it prolongs the color.
Apart from lips, it can be used to stop mosquito bites itching, to relieve nose skin irritation during a cold (it's really fantastic for this), some say even on sun/wind burned cheeks, but I never tried this.
The only con (for some people) could be that the product is not quite soft when applying, especially during cold weather, and the consistency is a little bit coarse. I find these characteristics positive, because they are a direct consequence of the genuineness of the ingredients.
I highly recommend it.
Firstly I would say that I have sued pretty much every other available lip balm on the market ! Whenever I go alpine climbing, my lips literally fall apart they get that dry!
Instantly when I used the climb on lip lube for the first time, I noticed how much higher quality it was compared to say Vaseline. The lip lube is much thicker, than off the shelf alternatives, and it smells amazing. The fact that it is helpful for wind and sun burn, also was a great factor for me. I can see the lip lube being a firm favourite of mine, as so far it seems awesome !
Fantastic service as usual from Facewest
