Description

The Arva Plume is a lightweight and compact shovel with an aluminium blade and a super light carbon shaft. It's essentially a larger bladed version of Arva's Ultralight weight race shovel the 'Ultra'. The shaft of the Plume is 46cm, long enough to affect a quick rescue whilst keeping the weight to a minimum. The blade measures 26cm x 24cm which gives a reasonable surface area to clear snow, though an efficient technique would be needed in order be fast enough with the Plume. At just 390g though it's ideal for those chasing fast and light days.
