Wild Country's Pro Key and Leash has become very popular on the trad climbers rack. The folded stainless steel top provides a more comfortable area to grip the device when pushing and proddling it into cracks to free up the most stubborn of stuck nuts. The tip of the pro key is precision ground to give the nose a great shape for the most awkward of retrievals.
The wire gate on the handle means the Pro key can be clipped directly to the climbers harness whilst a removable extendable leash means that if your drop it during those awkward retrievals all is not lost.

Customer Reviews of Wild Country Pro Key and Leash
A climbing Instructor put me on to this little beauty, who'd been climbing for 20 years! So he knows his stuff. It's well constructed and so handy as its on a leash. Your find it so easy to use whilst 400ft up on a face retrieving that bit of gear.
All round winner
Good piece of kit. I especially like the leash which means you can use it without detaching it from your harness. This means you can let go of it and avoid dropping it when retrieving any gear. It also means you don't have to fiddle about putting it back on your harness afterwards along with any gear you have retrieved, like some other nut keys. The extending leash goes quite a long way. The secondclip allows you to attach it to your harness without it dangling and snagging. It can be quite painful when it snags and then shoots back as I once found to my cost when descending from a route. This is a much better nut key than the one had previously used for many years.
This appealed to me mainly because of the leash and this part is great. The leash itself is reassuringly strong and the connectors seem high quality. The reach you can get with it is surprisingly long - easily as far as I can reach- and it doesn't hold you back.
The key itself is well made and effective. The clip means that it sits really nicely on your harness. My only criticism is that I don't find it all that comfortable to bash into the rock though the round part on the end does help.
Best nut key on the market. Without a doubt.
The times I've spent bruising my hand bashing on a horrible nut key are passed!Simplicity is key with this thing. The top of the tool is rounded and provides a nice surface to hit. The leash is such a brilliantly simple idea, which just makes everything much more comfortable and less of a hassle.
The ability to attach the key to your harness with the built in crab is also invaluable, but watch if you fall on your behind that it doesn't stab you! I've heard stories.
Slightly higher priced than other nut tools, but you'll regret not picking it up first time round (as I did). - Trad climbing essential.
