The Rab Torque Jacket is at the lighter end of the softshell jacket spectrum and offers protection in variable conditions on the mountain. It is constructed from a lightweight Matrix Double Weave Stretch fabric through the body, shoulders and sleeves, giving you a great freedom of movement. This also makes the jacket highly breathable and wind resistant, ideally suiting it to cooler days on the hill.
For additional durability the inside of the elbows and hood uses Rip Stop Matrix overlays. The hood is helmet compatible and features hidden front cordlocks and it has a stiffened peak to protect your vision in poor weather. The two YKK zipped Napoleon chest pockets are harness and rucksack hip belt friendly. Keeping the chill out the front YKK Vislon zip features an internal storm flap, the cuffs have hook and loop adjustments and the hem has a drawcord.
The Torque is ideally suited for summer alpinism and climbing but it is versatile enough to be used for cooler walking and mountain biking adventures too.

Customer Reviews of Rab Torque Jacket (Winter 18)
Great jacket for climbing in marginal weather. Super light, good fit and works well to keep out wind and some rain. Offers very little insulation, which makes it a suitable piece in layering for summer / dry-ish winter mountaineering. Hood fits comfortably over a helmet.
