The Patagonia Nano-Air Pants are built for frigid stop-start alpine missions or rest days at base camp, these soft, breathable and stretchy insulated bottoms provide all-day warmth and comfort on the coldest days.
The pants use FullRange insulation (40% recycled) which warms and stretches, and combined with the 87% recycled Polyester shell and lining, supplies outstanding mechanical stretch and unprecedented air permeability, allowing excess heat to move away from the body. The stretch fabrics and insulation, articulated patterning, and strategically placed, low-profile quilting provide exceptional range of motion for unhindered movement.
The low-profile, high-stretch waistband pulls on easily, accommodates different layers and sits comfortable under a harness or pack hip belt. The Nao-Air pants do not feature side zips so they will work well under shell pant for ski touring in super cold conditions. The tapered lower leg also makes them a great winter bouldering trouser so you can take advantage of the best conditions on really cold days while staying warm between attempts.
