The Mountain Equipment Mission Pant is a heavier weight hybrid softshell pant that is ideally suited for colder weather mountaineering, skiing and climbing. Constructed mainly from durable Exolite double stretch softshell providing wind protection along with total freedom of movement and breathability. In the high wear areas of the seat and knees there's Windstopper Softshell for improved durability and total windproof protection. The Windstopper also features a fleece inner which adds warmth and comfort.
The waist features an integrated belt, a double press stud closure and a zipped fly. The pants are a relaxed mountain fit so if you run really cold, they will accommodate a thermal liner. There are plenty of zipped pockets for safe storage options with the Missions. When working hard, the thighs feature zipped vents, allowing you to regulate your temperature quickly and effectively. The instep areas are reinforced to assist with protection from crampons and ski edges. The Mission Pants also feature ankle zips with an internal panel giving you flexibility with your footwear. To provide a good boot/trouser seal the hems are adjustable and they feature concealed lace hooks.

Customer Reviews of Mountain Equipment Mission Pant (Winter 18)
I tested these trousers out on Great Gable & Scafell Pike at the weekend. Every kind of weather happened over the day & the trousers performed amazing. They are fully wind resistant, & shower proof. They fit perfect & the tabs at the bottom of the legs are a nice touch. 5/5
I've had these pants a few weeks now and love them. They're a good weight for late Autumn and Winter walking but probably too warm for summer because of the soft fleece lining. The material is also of very good quality and nice and stretchy in all the right places and extremely comfortable. There are enough pockets which are all zipped to keep things stowed away safely and some handy venting on the outer thighs if things get too hot. I'd buy another pair of these for sure in the future and I'd highly recommend them.
