The Marmot Exum Guide Undercuff Glove are very similar to the classic Exum Guide but are designed to be worn under the cuffs of your jacket. The main body of the glove is constructed using durable leather with "outfinished" seams allowing for an excellent fit combined with dexterity. The Nylon stretch fabric allows for good freedom to move making the Exum Guide ideal for multi discipline mountain use from skiing through to alpine climbing and trekking.
Marmot MemBrain balances the best performance in breathability, waterproofness, and water repellency with excellent durability. The hydrophyllic nature of the PU film reduces internal condensation and increases comfort range by reducing the chilling effect caused by converting condensation build up back into vapour.
DriClime lines the Exum Guide and is engineered to create a 3 dimensional wicking effect drawing moisture away from the skin to maintain comfort and warmth. The Thermal R insulation has been developed by Marmot to be a very effective synthetic insulation lofting to produce excellent warmth for it's weight.

Customer Reviews of Marmot Exum Guide Undercuff Glove (Winter 18)
The undercut design is well implemented for those who prefer their gloves under the cuff of their outer jacket. The gloves are surprisingly lightweight for the functionality being adequately warm (some insulation on the inside) and robust in areas of hard wear thanks to the leather. The waterproofing is good (although they have only had one or two outings so far, so I can't comment on how long they will retain this, the leather should help with the usual wear through problem).Articulation is excellent allowing good grip of an ice axe etc. and the ability to use the sort of zips that tend to turn up on outdoor kit.Probably a little lightweight for heavy duty winter mountaineering.
In summary an excellent glove for the money.
Would have been 5 stars except:
- a nose wipe would have been useful (if not pleasant!)
- I would have preferred a longer cuff, since this length means the extra bulk of the velcro tightening strap is just where my watch strap goes and about where the same tightening mechanism on my jacket goes.
