La Sportiva Mutant

The La Sportiva Mutant is a trail running shoe with lots of cushioning and aggressive grip, ideal for running off the beaten track on slippery grass, scree and mud. Featuring La Sportiva's SpyralTongue which is essentially an integrated gaiter to protect against mud and stones while still being close fitting.

A 10mm drop provides plenty of cushioning while the FusionGate lacing system and Normal volume maintain stability and precision on challenging terrain. The Mutant is also compatible with La Sportiva's AT Grip Spikes for icy conditions. The Mutant will provide maximum comfort while running through the worst terrain the mountain or trail can throw at you.
