Over the last 15 years John has been enjoying the full spectrum of climbing, honing his skills throughout the UK and the European Alps, having now climbed over 20 Grand Courses. Adventure is what he's most drawn to, exploring throughout the Americas, with incredible experiences from big, alpine ice routes in the Canadian Rockies and big walls of Yosemite; to the 6000m mountains of Peru and Bolivia; and isolated new routes in Patagonia and the Indian Himalaya. The last decade has allowed John to share his passion and enthusiasm for the outdoors with many different people, both in personal and professional life, from leading school groups in Bolivia and Ecuador to guiding throughout the UK and worldwide. John is also a passionate skier with many adventurous lines and mountains skied in the Alps and Canada. He is a British Mountain Guide and IFMGA Aspirant Guide.
