The Exped Fold Drybag First Aid is an essential for anyone carrying an emergency first aid kit as it will keep the contents bone dry and free from dirt and dust.
Like all Exped dry bags these bags are seam taped to ensure total waterproofing. Exped have used a bright red bag with white printing so you can see and get to the bag in an emergency situation. This drybag comes in a choice of two sizes, the small having a flat construction and is ideal for a smaller day kit. The larger 5.5L bag has a oval construction and is perfect for kits for expeditions or larger groups.

This is a review of the Small Exped First Aid Dry Bag. A simple red dry bag with a white interior, clearly labelled First Aid with white letters and a white cross also - so no mistaking it for that other small red dry bag with your smelly socks in! Size wise I have fitted the following kit in it - this is just to give you an idea of size, not to start a debate about what should or shouldn't be in a First Aid Kit! Thus - 1 x Traumafix 15cm x 18cm 1 x Traumafix 10cm x 18cm 1 x 10cm Crepe Bandage 1 x Triangular Bandage 3 x 10cm x 10cm non-adherent dressings 1 x 10cm x 10cm pack of 5 gauze swabs Pair of gloves Mini Sharpie Marker Pen Paper 2 metres Gaffa tape flat packed Mini Tuff Cut scissors 1 x 6 Lightstick All that fits snugly, not much space left. The bag could be tagged shut if required through the buckle or via the two little D rings on it. A small carabiner would allow you to hang the kit from the D rings or you could use a strap and lash it down. Good, simple kit. Appears well made. Recommended.

This makes a great first aid kitbag for those like me who want to use their own custom made first aid kits instead of pre bought/ pre-packed ones. I like to take what I think I need and what I hope I know only to need. In order to be able to pack it down as small and tight as possible but also be able to recognise it at speed when needed urgently, this is perfect. It also means I can amend the first aid kit depending on what trip/ outing / conditions I go out in. I used to use any other compression sack and mark it first aid with a marker pen but the colours didn't always stand out, this is bright red and pre-marked in white. Spot on.

Excellent high quality dry bag, the small one is perfect for carry on luggage, and can be seen clearly. The large one is great for checked luggage and is quiet spacious. Not tested in water as purchased for a means to easily identify medication in luggage, but they seem to be very well made.

Perfect EDC dry bag for daily medication or small first aid kit. Fits nicely into a 5. 11 2 Banger or Versipack and keepsthe contents dry and free from dust. Good build quality and very durable.

First Aid dry bag small just about the right size to put your personal first aid kit into. I like the red colour along with the white cross. No problems finding the kit now.
