Full Description
The Black Diamond Venom is a lightweight, versatile axe for Alpinists and Ski Mountaineers looking for the most versatility for the lowest weight. The straight lower handle allow the Venom to by used comfortably as a walking or skiing axe and can be plunged effectively. The slight angle on the upper shaft, slide down FlickLock pommel and integrated rubber grip mean the Venom axe will still perform on steeper more technical terrain when paired up.
The angled shaft is constructed from Aluminium and is CEN-B certified while the head is stainless steel and available with either an adze or hammer. The picks can be replaced as the head is compatible with all Black Diamond modular pick options. As standard the Venom Hammer comes with Black Diamond's Mountain Tech pick and the Adze with the Mountain Classic pick.
