The Arcteryx Womens Cerium SL Hoody is a streamlined, super-light sewn-through down hooded jacket that uses the finest 850 fill power European white goose down. This ensures lightweight warmth for those on the move. It also offers superb mobility and can be used as a warm mid or outer layer in cool and dry conditions. This is the perfect choice for the ski tourer or Alpine climber when your counting every gram.
Down Composite mapping (DCM) is utilised in the Womens Cerium SL, this is where in the areas prone to moisture - the collar, chin, underarms and cuffs, Coreloft synthetic insulation is used instead of down. These areas are also prone to down migration. Therefore, the use of Coreloft eliminates this problem, as it remains static within the jacket. Down is then used throughout the core and arms, where warmth is required the most. The Arato Seven outer is durable, yet is still incredibly lightweight and also benefits from being DWR finished so it will repel moisture and light rain.
The jacket is a trim and contoured fit and features a low profile and down insulated StormHood, this provides you with maximum protection in the coldest weather. To keep the drafts out, the cuffs are elastic and the hem has an adjustable drawcord. It features two minimal zipped hand pockets to assist with keeping the weight of the jacket down. The jacket comes with its own stuff sack for easy rucksack transportation and jacket protection.
