The Arcteryx Phase SL Crew SS is a very lightweight short sleeve baselayer providing high levels of breathability wicking moisture super fast from your skin. This ensures all day comfort for activities where you will be working hard in cooler environments. It's lightweight lends this fabric to summer mountain activity whether you're trekking or climbing and just need that little extra bit of warmth.

Phasic base layer fabric is a compiled from two different yarns. The first is a non absorbent Hydrophobic yarn which will shed water molecules pushing them onto the PHi yarn. Silver ions are encapsulated into the Hydrophobic fibres of the yarn which provide anti-microbial properties to help eliminate odour.

The second yarn is PHi, a multi dimensional yarn which wicks moisture laterally along the length of the yarn, effectively dispersing moisture evenly across the garment. Temperature regulation is improved as this dispersal eliminates cold spots. As you slow down or stop the fabric will dry quickly, as a result of the larger surface area the moisture is covering, this quick evaporation helps to retain body heat.

Sweat marks are slow to come as they are efficiently dispersed over the fabric, and when they do, they evaporate swiftly. 2 days summer cycling gives a whiff that your tango partner might notice, but not your companion cyclist. Well worth the money.

This is my favorite synthetic baselayer fabric by far. It is silky, lightweight, doesn't hold odours, dries extremely fast. I have a few long sleeve ones and they are my go to baselayers for winter activities (until it gets cold enough to need a heavier weight baselayer) and I bought this one for summer time activities plus running. It has obviously not disappointed me since I already knew the fabric which is so versatile that I can wear it comfortably as a running shirt in the crazily high Greek summer temps.

Super light, super comfortable top, ideal for spring and summer running. I also have the Phase SV long-sleeve top which is a perfect combo in colder conditions or less intensive work-outs. A good alternative to the standard Nike Miler tops which are warmer.

This product is a nice slim fitting baselayer. The lack of a zip is an oversight as this is an extra way to keep cool especially walking up hill. Great quality from an excellent brand!

This has quite a tight, 'athletic' fit, but isn't unreasonable. It performs well as a wicking base layer and doesn't smell too much after use, so can be used a few times or longer treks.
