The Arcteryx Phase AR Crew LS is a great mid weight, long sleeve, fast wicking base layer which will keep you dry when working hard and warm when you stop. Perfect for a range of winter activities.
The Phasic fabric keeps you warm when descending and dry when ascending. It has a soft touch and is stretchy to compliment its excellent fast wicking performance. The Phase AR Crew LS features hybrid mapping to reduce bulk, which in turn leads to improved thermal regulation. It also has a Durable Anti Odour finish, which means it will prevent odours for longer. This crew version is very versatile as it's ideal for layering with no zip on the chest to cause issues when it's underneath multiple layers.
Phasic base layer fabric is compiled from two different yarns. The first is a non absorbent hydrophobic yarn, which will shed water molecules pushing them onto the PHi yarn. Silver ions are encapsulated into the hydrophobic fibres of the yarn which provide anti-microbial properties to help eliminate odour.
The second yarn is PHi, a multi dimensional yarn which wicks moisture laterally along the length of the yarn, effectively dispersing moisture evenly across the garment. Temperature regulation is improved as this dispersal eliminates cold spots. As you slow down or stop the fabric will dry quickly, as a result of the larger surface area the moisture is covering. This quick evaporation helps to retain body heat.

Customer Reviews of Arcteryx Phase AR Crew LS (Summer 19)
Used the base layer 4 times now, it feels great and wicks sweat away very well. Size chart is spot on. I have previously used merino base layers and this is the best I've rode in by quite some way.I use this and a long sleeve jersey and this will be fine down to 4-5 degrees for me and think I will be purchasing the winter base layer as well... very pleased cheers.
This is the second one I buy just to have more colors available. This baselayer is awesome for all cold weather (the first time I put it on I could instantly feel warmer than any of my merino wool baselayers). I still prefer merino wool when it comes to odour retention but this one just feels warmer and more comfortable all around.
Very good base layer - good quality - will buy more - so low as price doesn't go higher.
Unlike some wool based makes this base layer is hard wearing ( for example under cags where constantly friction through body movementpossible).
