Customer Reviews of Arcteryx Fortrez Beanie (Winter 18)
This is an excellent hat, given how thin and light this Beanie is I was surprised at how warm and windproof it is, the beanie takes up very little space when folded away in my pocket so it goes everywhere with me now.
This is a great hat for active pursuits in the cool to cold weather. It keeps the wind off, is nicely insulating and wicks quite well. One size, but I found a perfect fit (58cm head) and stretchy enough to be comfortable for most I would think.
I will opt for a thicker or wool hat when really cold or inactive, but for a bald man this is now my everyday go to hat.
I have another colour but bought this for my brother's christmas present. He is sold on to too.
I use it while trail running. The one size fits all sizing worked for me but maybe a bit loose - but certainly very comfortable. I am male and the typical size in hats is L.
The beanie is feather light and you can hardly tell it is there. Works extremely well in dry cold conditions windy or not that i have tested it so far.
Overall an amazing piece of kit for me - something that I always carry around in my sports bag when going running in the trails.
