The Arcteryx Beta SL Hybrid Jacket is the most packable and supple jacket for use in emergency mountain conditions. Ideal for alpine climbers or backcountry skiers requiring a minimal jacket in the most lightweight and breathable Gore-Tex fabric. It has a hip length cut and has been shaped with e3D - ergonomic three-Dimensional patterning that is designed to enhance a greater freedom of movement.
The main body of the jacket is made from compact and lightweight 2 Layer Gore-Tex with PacLite technology, which is the lightest fabric in the Gore-Tex range. This reduces the overall weight of the jacket and also makes the jacket more packable. 3 Layer Gore Tex with Gore C-Knit Backer Technology has been used in high wear areas to increase durability and enhance the feel of the fabric.
A helmet compatible StormHood has great adjustment, allowing for a good seal and will rotate with your head so your vision is never impaired. The hem has an adjustable drawcord to keep draughts out and to keep it located in place. The jacket has laminated and adjustable cuffs, to ensure a secure closure over your gloves and has two hand pockets.

Customer Reviews of Arcteryx Beta SL Hybrid Jacket
First time ski-touring properly in the Alps. Very pleased with this purchase - well manufactured and did exactly what I wanted it to. Only negative would be the price of the brand - I would have been disappointed had I had to spend the original price for this jacket as I can't see it's any different to cheaper options.
