The Arcteryx Fission SV Jacket is a fully waterproof insulated jacket that offers superb levels of warmth and storm protection. It is ideal for cold wet conditions so it's a great piece for the UK mountains.
With a 2 Layer Gore-Tex outer, it is fully waterproof and breathable. The hydrophobic durable Coreloft insulation is utilized throughout the jacket and is paired with Permeair 20 to create an exceptionally breathable and thermally efficient system.
This jacket has been cut for an active use with e3D proving an enhanced level of freedom of movement. The insulated DropHood and collar has superb adjustment ensuring you are protected even in the worst weather the mountains might throw at you. It has plenty of pockets giving you maximum storage options for essential items you need to carry close to hand. The hem is adjustable so it prevents unwanted drafts and keeps your core fully warm.

A well fitting jacket with room for a thick jumper or fleece to be worn beneath. Nice high collar, which I feel could do with an elastic acted closure to seal out the wind if not wearing a scarf. Plenty of arm movement without coat riding up and with the Goretex Pro outer, you have a warm and almost bomb proof coat made to the usual high standards from ARCTERYX. Highly recommended.
