The Arcteryx Delta LT Zip is a versatile, compact microfleece pullover, that can be utilized for a variety of activities. The half length zip allows it to be used as a super warm base layer or as mid to lightweight mid layer.
Made from Polartec Classic 100 micro velour small grid, it offers excellent wicking properties and is very light and highly breathable. It provides a high weight to warmth ratio. The deep chest zip allows for easy venting, if things start to get too warm. The cut allows for great freedom of movement, even when worn under a harness and its low profile construction makes it an ideal layering piece.

Customer Reviews of Arcteryx Delta LT Zip (Winter 18)
This is a slim fit super comfortable top that I use either as a base layer or over a thin T-shirt.Medium is a perfect fit (5ft10 12st / 76kg).So comfortable it has become my first choice top around the house but did get some good use in Snowdonia last week - close fit made for easy addition of layers and rucksack.Highly recommended.
The build quality and material choice of this fleece is first class. As far as my limited experience with the fleece goes, it is warmer than a normal 100-weight polartec classic. Unfortunately I had to return it, because the cut is completely unusual. I own several other Arcteryx garments and the same size would fit me like a glove, but this fleece is very loose, I would even call it bulky. I would recommend this fleece to everyone after all, but one has to find a good size, maybe one size smaller.
It's really hard to place a review about a simple item like a fleece. But the Arcteryx fleece is a bit off kit that ticks off all off the boxes; The look, the fit, the quality, the longevity, the price.
So for me this is a great fleece that everyone should own, mine is used every day on the mountain, walking or going down the shops, I love the three I own.
I wanted a lightweight fleece top to wear as part of a layering system for general walking. I've always been a fan of Arc'teryx and have previously found their products to be well tailored and we'll made,if pricy.
This top fitted the bill, and is just what I wanted and just what I've come to expect from Arc'teryx. I would have to say that it's overpriced for what it is; a simple lightweight (100 weight) fleece top; OK it's well made and fits well but the premium for the logo on the front is excessive.
Pros - Well made, Good fit
Cons - Overpriced
This fleece is great. It is an excellent mid layer. It is light and warm. It is very soft, comfortable and versatile.
I can wear it also as a first layer, next to skin. It is very breathable, I can use it everyday in the city or for high output activities both in the Greek mountains and in Austrian and German Alps.
It is just a perfect product.
On the one hand, not having a chest pocket means it's a smidge lighter, but TBH, I would have preferred the pocket.
1/2 zip is good and practical for altering the temperature and I found the fit good to generous (I'm a 37 chest currently and the small is a little large on me, but not excessively so). The material is certainly not the classic fleece material (as it's gridded) but it's still soft to the touch & pleasant to wear next to the skin as a base layer - but if this is done, bear in mind that it is a larger fit than expected.
Smart enough for going out in and breathes well.
Soft and comfy, I can imagine this becoming my go-to home shirt in the winter time in addition to it being a very good performance fleece since it does indeed breath well as noted by the others here, too. It is quite thin but still offers nice warmth, so weight/warm ratio is very good.
While this is not enough as itself for the real cold weather, it is ideal for the most time in the unfortunately too warm southern Finland winter. And of course when it gets really cold, I would assume this makes a very nice mid layer under some thicker fleece.
Oh and it is probably the smartest looking fleece you can find!
A well made lightweight fleece with an athletic fit which will layer well under a shell for walking or skiing but is also, like most Arcteryx gear, smart enough for casual use in late summer/autumn. I will be wearing this quute frequently!
