The Mountain Equipment G2 Alpine Jacket is one of the toughest and most weatherproof softshells around. With externally taped seams and a zip-away Gore-Tex® PacLite hood it provides more water resistance than most membrane midlayers meaning you'll only need to get your hardshell out in the worst of weather. The G2 Alpine Jacket also offers a level of breathability which makes the jacket much more comfortable to wear than even the most breathable of shells. This is a great mountaineering softshell, breathable and vented enough for long walk-ins but with enough freedom of movement and weather resistance to see you through most mountain days.
