Marmot Ion Windshirt
£35.00
The Marmot Ion windshirt was my favourite new piece of clothing this summer. It is a completely unlined version of the driclime windshirt.
At 142g and no bulk at all you can carry it anywhere and in anything. Great at deflecting cold air when you are generating your own heat, the Ion windshirt is just right as a light shell for long bike rides, runs, XC sking and ski touring.
When worn between a baselayer and an outer layer it adds a considerable amount of warmth and dries in a flash when it gets sweaty or showered on. The hood is another great feature, not really for keeping your head dry but fantastic if you are out running without a hat and it's a bit cold and windy.
Weight: 5 ozs / 142 g.
Shell material: Banshee P-170 with Marmot Defender DWR.
Features: Designed to fit over baselayer
Wind resistant, water repellent, and breathable fabric protects you from mild conditions so you stay comfortable
Attached hood provides an extra warmth layer under a shell hood or by itself in milder conditions
Zip chest pocket to secure small items
Narrow elastic cuff provides comfort with minimal bulk
Ultra Light Construction.
Colours - Black & Hedge/Dark Cedar
