The Wild Country Superlight Rocks are somewhere between an RP and a standard Rock, they have single wire strand and come in sizes 1 to 6 that correspond to the standard Wild Country Rock on Wire sizes (see related pages below). The Superlight Rocks are an excellent addition to any rack increasing the range of gear placements, and also make a 'superlight' substitution for standard Rocks.

Wild Country have basically cut in half the related size Rock on Wire and slung it on a single strand of wire without greatly reducing the strength of the nut, this gives you a 40% weight saving compared to the standard Rocks (see size chart below). The shape of the Superlight Rocks head means it can protect the same placement as a normal Wild country Rocks whilst also fitting in places where they would not, i.e. shallow placements. Therefore the slim profile of the Wild Country Superlight Rocks are an excellent fit in pin scars, really shallow slots, and constricting tapered placements.

The anodising on the Superlight Rocks corresponds to the same size standard Rock on Wire, so when you grab for them mid crux you won't pick the wrong one or waste energy muddling with gear. There are two groups of people the Wild Country Superlight Rocks will appeal to, those who want to save every gram of weight e.g. alpinists, and those wanting to extend the range of gear placement e.g. Big Wall and Trad climbers.
